About Me

I’m an experienced Product and Growth Leader who has built and scaled over 10 startups from 0 to 1. I’m passionate about serving people who have historically been underserved by technology. I am obsessed with creating products that delight users and building teams to scale those products.

I grew up in Sri Lanka and came to the US for college. I always wanted to be an entrepreneur and was involved in many entrepreneurial adventures through high school and college. I chose to go to Stanford to be in the midst of tech entrepreneurship. After a brief stint in the East Coast for grad school at UPenn, I found myself back in the SF Bay Area, building an EdTech company called Piazza. 

As part of the founding team at Piazza, I got to design and build most of Piazza's core product offering getting to product market fit fast. As Head of Product and Engineering, I built two more product lines for Piazza that achieved product market fit within 6 months. My role evolved to lead Sales and Customer Success helping Piazza scale revenue from tens of thousands to tens of millions. 

After Piazza, I was a Founding Partner and Chief Product Officer at Rex, a Venture Studio focused on PropTech. At Rex I built 10 companies that targeted disrupting various aspects of real estate, ranging from Insurtech, Fintech, Blockchain, Big Data, and Vertical SaaS. I helped set the product strategy, hired the founding team, and guided each team through product market fit and scale.
